Georgia Dimcheva, born in 2016, won two bronze medals for the Zlatno Slanse swimming club from Nessebar at two tournaments, Nessebar council said.
At the 12th international Ivan "The Roshav" Stoychev tournament, she finished third in the 100m breaststroke. At Burgas Swim she was third again, this time in the 50m breaststroke.
More than 550 swimmers from over 35 clubs in Bulgaria, Moldova, Turkey and other countries took part in the first event. Burgas Swim drew 640 swimmers from 38 clubs.
The club says Dimcheva won her medals through steady effort, discipline and focused training. It says the results belong to the swimmers, coaches and local community together.
The young swimmers raced against rivals from Bulgaria and abroad and gained experience against strong competition. The club says meeting swimmers from other clubs builds the children's skills and confidence. It enters such tournaments to make swimming more popular and to give children a lasting love of sport.
The council says it backs youth sport, is expanding sports facilities and is working to offer more kinds of sport.
