All customers of Burgas heating company Toplofikatsia Burgas are without hot water from 10pm on Friday, 23 October, until 10pm on Sunday, 25 October, the company said on Facebook. It is replacing gland expansion joints in chamber K20.

Customers were not warned in advance. They found out when cold water ran from their hot taps.

The company posted the notice only on Facebook, with comments turned off. The website of the heating plant does not mention the repair.

The company apologised to customers for the inconvenience. It said it would tell them if the dates change.

As the legal basis for the cut, the company cited Article 73(2) of the Energy Act, read with Article 73(1) of the Spatial Planning Act.
