Sunday Horo in Burgas: A Journey Through Bulgarian Folklore in August

Dance under the open sky: "Sunday Horo" takes over Burgas in August too

Following a successful start in June and July, the favorite of Burgas residents, "Sunday Horo", continues its mission to preserve Bulgarian traditions throughout August. For five consecutive Sundays – August 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 – the balustrade next to the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center will turn into a stage of rhythm and emotion.

Every Sunday evening is an invitation to a journey through the folklore regions of Bulgaria – from the northern rhythms to the magic of the Rhodopes.

What to expect from the August program?

• Variety: Both popular horos and rare dances from all folklore regions (Northern, Dobrudzha, Thracian, Shop, Pirin, and Rhodope) will be performed.
• Community: The event brings generations together – from experienced dancers to absolute beginners.
