A 74-year-old woman from Nessebar suffered multiple injuries when a car hit her yesterday evening at the junction of Struma and Otets Paisiy streets in the town, police said.

The crash happened at about 6pm. The car was driven by a 63-year-old woman from Burgas.

Police say both women broke traffic rules at the junction. The driver made a wrong left turn, and the older woman crossed the road in the wrong place. Police gave no further details and did not say whether the driver was tested for alcohol.
