Sofia city prosecutors have taken a man to court, charging him with holding drugs to sell and with selling some of them. The indictment puts the value of the drugs at €45,825.04.

Prosecutors say that on 14 June 2024 the man had 3,145.67 grams (net) of marijuana, 53.82 grams (net) of hashish and 60.50 grams (net) of cocaine at a home in the capital's Hippodrome district.

The investigation says he sold some of the drugs to two people the same day.

The case is before the Sofia City Court, which has yet to set a date for a preliminary hearing.

A week ago, prosecutors also sent another man to court, charged with holding more than €254,000 worth of drugs to sell.
