Water crisis on the Southern Black Sea coast: The area from Ravda to Elenite is "dry"

At the beginning of the active summer season, thousands of tourists and local residents in the area between Ravda and the "Elenite" holiday village faced an unexpected challenge – a complete lack of water supply.

The problem is caused by planned construction and assembly work, announced ViK Burgas.

Not only private homes are affected, but also numerous hotels and holiday complexes that are currently welcoming their first guests for the summer. The service interruption began at 09:00 this morning.

When is the water expected to flow again?

  • Official position: The water utility company informs that the water supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the repair work.
  • Areas at risk: All properties along the resort zone between Ravda and Elenite.

The water outage comes at an extremely inconvenient time – right when preparations for the active tourist season are at their peak. The affected properties are hoping for a quick response from the crews so as not to disturb the comfort of the vacationers.
