Border police officers in Burgas visited pupils at Nayden Gerov school, told them about their work and showed them some of their equipment, Border Police said.

The children saw a thermal imaging camera and a spike strip used to stop cars. The drone drew the most interest.

Officers use it every day to watch the border strip and spot people crossing the border illegally.

A similar meeting took place a week earlier at Konstantin Petkanov school in the Meden Rudnik district.
