Recognition for Significant Contribution in Tsarevo

During the 36th session of the Municipal Council, Mayor Marin Kirov officially presented the title "Honorary Citizen of Tsarevo" to two distinguished local figures. The awards were received by Elena Stoyanova, secretary of the "Hristo Botev – 1914" Community Center in Ahtopol, and Dr. Teodor Baykushev, a veterinarian practicing in the same town.

The award ceremony took place with a delay due to objective reasons that prevented the recipients from attending at the end of last year.

New Projects for Education and Social Support

The Municipal Council gave the green light to key initiatives aimed at the development of the municipality:

  • Support for talents: The municipality will apply under the "Education" Program 2021–2027 with a project to modernize the environment and develop students with outstanding gifts.
  • Social inclusion: The preparation of a project under the "Human Resources Development" Program to support vulnerable groups of the population has been approved.

Inter-municipal Cooperation

An important step for the development of the region is the decision for Tsarevo Municipality to join the Regional Association of Municipalities "Trakia". The purpose of the membership is to strengthen cooperation with other municipalities, share best practices, and improve coordination in the implementation of regional initiatives.
