Burgas in the Leading Role: First Student Film and Theatre Festival
From September 9 to 12, Burgas becomes a focal point for Bulgaria's young talents. The first edition of Dream Fest, organized by NATFIZ "Krâstyo Sarafov" and the Municipality of Burgas, offers a unique program that brings together film, theatre, and art.
"Burgas is in the leading role" – the motto under which the city will open its doors to the best productions by the Academy's students.
What to expect from the program?
- Theatrical performances at various locations, including the beach.
- Film screenings and creative meetings.
- Scenography and photography exhibitions.
- Youth Conference on Film and Theatre (September 11-12) at the International Congress Center.
Event Locations
The festival will take place at key locations in the city: the NHK Cultural Center, the "Okhlyuva" (The Snail) open-air stage, the Adriana Budevska Drama Theatre, the State Puppet Theatre, and the International Congress Center.
A New Beginning for NATFIZ in Burgas
Dream Fest also marks the opening of the new academic year at the NATFIZ branch in Burgas. The Academy is introducing two innovative majors: "Dance and Performance" and "Animation and Design," which will be taught exclusively here.

Абе, пич! Dream Fest в Бургас?! Сериозно ли? Страшно се радвам, че нещо такова се случва! Дано да е наистина яко събитие, а не само за губене на време и пари. Виж сега, аз съм малко притеснен – много често тия "фестивали" са пълни с самозванци и връзки... ама ще си скърша задника и ще отида да видя как е. Важното е мла 🤬
Хм... Dream Fest в Бургас? Добре е, че НАТФИЗ се опитват да излязат от София и да подкрепят културата в провинцията. Винаги съм мислил, че трябва повече внимание към младите таланти извън столицата.
Абе, пичове, готино нещо се случва! Dream Fest в Бургас? Браво на НАТФИЗ, че не са се набутали само в София, да разпръскват културата из цяла България! Честно казано, малко ми е тъжно, че винаги всичко хубаво се случва само в столицата и после ние тук си гледаме накриво. Сега ще има какво да правим през уикендите – да подкрепим младите таланти, да видим нещо свежо! Надявам се много хора да го посетят, не само бургазлии. Да покажем 👎
