Dream Fest in Burgas: NATFIZ turns the city into a stage for cinema and theater

Burgas in the Leading Role: First Student Film and Theatre Festival

From September 9 to 12, Burgas becomes a focal point for Bulgaria's young talents. The first edition of Dream Fest, organized by NATFIZ "Krâstyo Sarafov" and the Municipality of Burgas, offers a unique program that brings together film, theatre, and art.

"Burgas is in the leading role" – the motto under which the city will open its doors to the best productions by the Academy's students.

What to expect from the program?

• Theatrical performances at various locations, including the beach.
• Film screenings and creative meetings.
• Scenography and photography exhibitions.
• Youth Conference on Film and Theatre (September 11-12) at the International Congress Center.

Event Locations

The festival will take place at key locations in the city: the NHK Cultural Center, the "Okhlyuva" (The Snail) open-air stage, the Adriana Budevska Drama Theatre, the State Puppet Theatre, and the International Congress Center.

A New Beginning for NATFIZ in Burgas

Dream Fest also marks the opening of the new academic year at the NATFIZ branch in Burgas. The Academy is introducing two innovative majors: "Dance and Performance" and "Animation and Design," which will be taught exclusively here.
