Young refugees accommodated in Burgas demonstrated sportsmanship and skills at the 43rd State Championship for Children and Youth at Risk. They participated in the football tournament, competing alongside Bulgarian children. The team from Burgas showed enviable results, proving that sport is a universal language and a unifying force.
The championship was held on April 29, 2025, at the "Sports Sofia 2000" sports complex in "Vazrazhdane" park. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children and Youth at Risk (BSFCYR), as the initiative is part of the project "Sofia - European Capital of Sport" under the motto "Sport - accessible to all children".

More than 218 young people from all over the country, representing various social institutions, took part. The competitions were held in six sports: athletics, football, badminton, table tennis, basketball, and taekwondo. BSFCYR, through sport, encourages the development of valuable habits, social integration, and personal development in young people.
