DPS leader Delyan Peevski will notify the prosecutor's office regarding allegations made by Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, claiming that the MP's foreign trips were funded through so-called "piggy bank companies".

Peevski denies all allegations and characterizes the minister's words as "fabrications". He emphasizes that neither he nor his relatives have benefited from public procurement, as all flights were paid for personally. Supporting his position, the politician added an ironic comment: "Demerdzhiev, besides putting him on a spaceship and sending him to Mars with a single 50 million ticket".

In his statement, Delyan Peevski also addressed the government's efforts to curb high fuel prices. Regarding the steps taken, he expressed skepticism: "We will see when they happen; in my opinion, they are not sufficient, but let's see the effect and people will give their opinion".
