Burgas hosts a scientific conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the creation of the “Landscape Architecture” specialty in Bulgaria. The forum, held in the Sea Casino Cultural Center, brought together landscape architects, lecturers from the University of Forestry, students and business representatives.
The Rector of the University of Forestry, Assoc. Prof. Hristo Mihailov, noted that Burgas is a dynamically developing city and emphasized the need for synergy between the university and Burgas Municipality for common development. He thanked Mayor Dimitar Nikolov for his efforts to open a branch of the University of Forestry in the city.
Mayor Dimitar Nikolov highlighted the great interest in the “Landscape Architecture” specialty in Burgas, citing a large number of candidates for places in the construction high school. He announced progress in the construction of student dormitories and housing for lecturers, expressing hope for support from the new leadership of the Ministry of Education for the opening of the branch.
The “Landscape Architecture” specialty is the successor to the “Green Urban Construction” specialty created in 1951. The anniversary in Burgas is celebrated with a scientific conference “Landscape Architecture - the bearer of harmony in the changing world” and an exhibition of student projects.

Абе хора, успокойте се малко! 75 години, значи... добре де, не казвам че Бургас е бил Флоренция през целия тоя период, ама все пак - хубаво е да си помним историята. Конференции, изложби... аз лично ще съм доволен ако поне една роза по-хубава излезе от тия обсъждания.
интересно, конференцията наистина ли е допринесла за някакви конкретни идеи или планове за бъдещото развитие на градската среда в бургас? имаше ли дискусии относно устойчиви решения и адаптиране към климатичните промени – все пак тези неща са мн важни днес, нали? питам просто, защото често такива форуми остават само с теоретични обсъждания.
Хм, интересно. 75 години ландшафтна архитектура в Бургас… наистина не съм си представял, 4е имаме толкова дълга традиция в тази сфера. Поздравления на всички, които са работили и продължават да работят за озеленяването на града
