In the city garden, Bulgarians decorated one of the trees with martenitsi. Students, teachers and parents from the Bulgarian Sunday School "V. Aprilov" joined the action.

The director of the VCBK, Dmitry Terzi, spoke about the traditions of how to welcome and see off Baba Marta. He stressed that due to the situation in the country, not so many people took part in the event.

After the action, a festively decorated martenitsa tree remained as a gift from the Bulgarians, as a symbol of the coming spring and with good wishes to all Odessans.
