Record number of graduates in Burgas

This year, 2398 young people are completing their secondary education in 28 schools, vocational and specialized high schools in Burgas. By tradition, most of them will mark their graduation on May 24th.

Important: Burgas Municipality calls on car drivers to exercise increased caution during the celebrations in order to avoid accidents and traffic jams.

Schedule of graduation proms

  • May 24: Main date for the celebrations of 23 schools.
  • May 15: "Petko Rosen" Secondary School has already sent off its graduates.
  • May 31: The Vocational High School of Computer Programming and Innovation is organizing a prom.
  • No proms: The Vocational Technical High School, the "Penyo Penev" Vocational High School of Construction, and the "Hristo Botev" Secondary School (Cherno More district) are not organizing proms.

Gathering points for the festive procession

To avoid traffic congestion, the graduates are distributed across key locations:

  • Sea Garden (The Pantheon, the terrace next to the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center, the Pushkin monument, "Flora Burgas", behind the "Primoretz" hotel).
  • Central city area ("Troykata" square, "Bulgaria" hotel, NHK Cultural Center).
  • Around the schools and in the different neighborhoods.

Part of those celebrating will head to the "Sunny Beach" resort complex for their evening events.
