On April 9th, Thursday, at 7 PM in the hall of the State Opera - Burgas, the traditional Easter concert dedicated to the brightest Christian holiday is forthcoming. The renowned maestro Yordan Dafov, who celebrated his 86th birthday in February, will again be on the conductor's podium.

The program of the Easter concert will feature: Divertimento in F Major, KV 138 by W. A. Mozart, "Trumpeters' Holiday" by Leroy Anderson, Salve Regina by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, and Requiem in D minor by Anton Bruckner.

Bruckner's Requiem is a large-scale Requiem Mass, and Pergolesi's Salve Regina is among his most famous sacred compositions. Soloists in Bruckner's Requiem will be: Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova - soprano, Maria Yurkovskaya - mezzo-soprano, Yani Nikolov - tenor, and Kostadin Mechkov - bass. In "Trumpeters' Holiday" will participate Georgi Todorov, Nikola Devedzhiev and Alexander Andonov.
