Musical Festival with a Cause: Egasi Meets Solidarity and Rhythm

The prestigious musical forum Egasi Fest expands its concept beyond the traditional boundaries of an entertainment event, transforming into a platform for social change. The third edition of the festival, which will be held on August 15 at Sea Port, Burgas, brings together leading Bulgarian musical performers with a large-scale campaign to support victims of domestic violence.

The organizers declare a clear position: the musical space can and should be an active instrument for social transformation. Among the participants are legendary bands such as Rubber Heads, KINGSIZE, 100 Kila, F.O. & Peeva, Sekta, The Bad Ones and Spence & Bobo, who will create an unforgettable atmosphere.

The innovative approach of the "I Am Rada" campaign includes multiple interactive elements. Visitors will be able to discover specially developed Rada Dolls, which through QR codes redirect to the digital application "Help Me" – a comprehensive resource for legal and psychological support.

Statistical data reveal the alarming reality: in 2024, 4590 cases of domestic violence were registered in Bulgaria, of which 3021 were women and over 1100 were children. These figures underscore the need for systemic interventions and social solidarity.

Special zones will be positioned on the festival grounds: volunteers in orange clothing will provide information, and the so-called Quiet Space will provide a confidential environment for communication and support.

The initiative is realized with the support of significant institutions: Zonta Clubs in Bulgaria, the National Legal Aid Bureau, the Bulgarian Fund for Women, and the European Union. The campaign symbol – the orange Rada doll made from recycled materials – embodies the idea of recovery and a second chance.

The organizers believe that music festivals can be more than entertainment – they are a space where the energy of youth meets social responsibility, and enjoyment is combined with a deep civic commitment.

Tickets for Egasi Fest 2025 are already on sale, with each purchased entry ticket being not just an invitation to a musical experience, but a specific contribution to the important cause of eliminating domestic violence.
