One of Bulgaria’s greatest theatrical artists, Marius Kurkinski, will present his emblematic one-man show "Our Fellow Countryman_ at the Cultural Center NHK on August 23. The performance, which is awaited with great interest by the audience, is described as "a truly different theatrical experience_ and is part of the actor's tour, which passes through a number of cities in the country.

The performance "Our Fellow Countryman_ is a deeply personal and analytical look at Kurkinski's creative path, as he himself points out that he is seeking answers to his artistic "whys_. In a candid statement, he describes his creative life as a series of metamorphoses that began more than three decades ago. According to him, it all started with:

It all started when I thought I was Don Juan ("Don Juan" - 1993)

His next step was:

with great trepidation I performed the song of all songs ("The Song of Songs" - 1993)

One of the key events in his career was the meeting with:

a mysterious lady who helped me step onto the big stage and meet the numerous spectators ("The Lady with the Dog" - 1996)
