Chinese medical experts will give a public lecture on traditional Chinese medicine at Prof. Dr Asen Zlatarov University in Burgas on Wednesday, 4 November, at 1pm, the university said.

Entry is free, but there are only 140 seats, so people must register in advance at https://bba-lekcii.netlify.app/.

The lecture is titled "Health culture through the eyes of a thousand-year-old Chinese tradition". It will be held in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Medicine at 1 Prof. Yakim Yakimov Blvd. Students, teachers and anyone interested in the topic are invited.

The speakers will talk about the main principles of traditional Chinese medicine, its philosophy of harmony, and how to prevent illness and protect health today. The practical part includes demonstrations of acupuncture, Tuina massage and other traditional methods. Guests will also be able to try traditional Chinese herbal teas.

The lecture is part of the Bulgarian Hospital Association's national campaign "Health culture – the basis for better health". The university is a partner in the organisation of the event. The campaign aims to raise health awareness, encourage prevention and make people take more responsibility for their own health.
