The large-scale musical event "Egasi Festa" is becoming a platform for social change, uniting leading Bulgarian rap artists in a strong campaign against violence towards women and children.
On August 15, the Burgas coastline will become the epicenter of a musical and social message, where over 20 performers will present the most powerful hip-hop show of the year. Among the participants are some of the most recognizable names in the Bulgarian rap scene - Gumeni Glavi, Spence, 100 Kila, Loshite, KINGSIZE, F.O and Peeva, Konsa, Yana Estrela, and others.
The event is not just a musical concert, but a joint initiative with the national campaign "Rada Says NO", organized by Zonta Bulgaria. Partners in the project are the National Bureau for Legal Aid, Bulgarian Fund for Women, and the European Union.
The innovative message will be presented through a symbolic installation with a Rada doll, which will be positioned in different places in the festival zone. Each doll will contain a QR code that directly leads to the mobile application "Help Me" - an innovative tool for accessing free legal support for victims of violence.
The musical program promises an extremely diverse show - a mix of rap performances, live instruments, dance, and premiere collaborations that will remain in the history of the Bulgarian scene. All artists will demonstrate a categorical stance against all forms of violence.
The campaign is part of the global initiative "Zonta Says NO", launched in 2012, whose main goal is to mobilize society in the fight against violence towards women and girls.
The campaign's message is extremely powerful and inspiring: "I am Rada. Today I live a new life. Looking back at my experience, instead of being afraid, I am proud of myself... You can too! Without fear!"
