Burgas is hosting an exhibition that traces the development of the creative industry in Bulgaria over the last two decades. The exhibition, titled "The Best of FARA", presents the highest-rated advertising projects, including the six Grand Prix awarded throughout the 25-year history of the Advertising Agencies Festival (FARA). The event is part of the rich accompanying program of the 25th anniversary edition of FARA, which is being held at the city's Congress Center.

Known Bulgarian artist celebrates 85th birthday with premiere of new play
The poet, playwright and living legend of contemporary Bulgarian culture Nedyalko Yordanov celebrated his 85th birthday with the premiere of a new play titled "Whatever, Such Is". The performance, directed by Mirela Ivanova, will be presented on June 10 at the "Adriana Budevska" Drama Theatre in Burgas and will bring together beloved Bulgarian actors on stage.

The Second Black Sea International Literary Festival will be held from June 5 to 7 in Burgas. The event will bring together over 60 writers, translators, publishers and literary professionals from Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Romania for discussions, literary readings and meetings with readers. The festival is organized by the Municipality of Burgas with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and in partnership with a number of institutions.

Burgas will host a special exhibition that traces the development of the advertising sector in Bulgaria from 2004 to 2024. The exhibition, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies (BACA), will present the best projects awarded in the competition program of the Advertising Festival (FARA) over the past 25 years. The event will open a new perspective on the changes in themes, media channels, and the communication environment in advertising.
Nessebar welcomes 70 performers and 22 ensembles to the International Folklore Festival "Nessebar Jewelry"
From June 6 to 8, the XI International Folklore Festival "Nesebur Jewel" will be held in Nesebur, organized by the People's Cultural Center "Yana Laskova - 1905" and the Municipality of Nesebur. Community center "St. St. Cyril and Methodius 1985" in Burgas will host the next edition of the "Colorful Pot" festival on June 8. The event will feature demonstrations of yoga, karate, and scientific experiments, as well as a concert program with various musical performers.
The Burgas Opera presents Verdi's "Il Trovatore" - a stellar performance of the classic tragic opera.
On June 5, the State Opera - Burgas will present the opera "Il Trovatore" by Giuseppe Verdi. The performance will feature an impressive artistic cast, including soloists such as Valery Georgiev, Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Andrey Yurkovsky and Daniela Dyakova. The opera will be conducted by Ivan Kozhuharov, and director Ivan Savov will present a semiotic scenography and costumes in the spirit of the era. On August 2, the opera will also be performed at the "Opera at the Sanctuary" festival in Begliktash.
The artistic treasures of Bulgarian diplomacy are unveiled in Burgas
On June 5, a representative exhibition will be opened in Burgas, presenting over 2000 works of art from the collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The exhibition "Diplomacy and Art" is a continuation of the exhibition of the same name from 2019 and includes works by established Bulgarian artists from the post-war period to the present day.
The Fourth Edition of the "Kinovakantsia" Film Festival in Burgas presents a variety of Bulgarian films.
The "Kinovakantsia" festival will be held from June 22 to 24 in the Cultural Center NHK in Burgas. The event will present feature films and short films, including auteur works, debuts and established names from contemporary Bulgarian cinema. The program includes meetings with the creative teams of six of the films, and admission for the audience is free.
Generation and Culture Encounter: Exhibition of Marko Hadzikosev and Kalin Rilski in Burgas
On June 5th in Burgas, an exhibition will be opened, which brings together two creative individuals - Marko Hadjikocev and Kalin Rilski. The exhibition presents paintings imbued with the spirit of Bulgaria, but created in different eras and environments. The event is organized by the "Believe in You" Foundation and will support the 16-year-old Natalie, who is fighting a serious illness.
Burgas is once again becoming a stage for a magical festival of street arts
The 6Fest Street Arts Festival is returning to Burgas on June 21 and 22, 2025. The highlight of the program is a light carnival procession with giant puppets in the shape of birds, fish, and pumpkins, which will pass through the city center. The festival also includes interactive daytime events where the audience will be able to view the puppets and meet the artists.
