The publication examines the development of soundings as navigational instruments and summarizes finds from antiquity to modern times, including those from the Bulgarian coast.

Winners of the Recitation Competition „Me, the Sea and Burgas“
Burgas Municipality announced the winners of the fifth recitation competition „Me, the Sea and Burgas“, organized by the Community Center „Paisii Hilendarski 1928“ with the support of the Regional Library „Peyo Yavorov“. Over 250 children from Burgas and the country participated in the competition. The awards ceremony is on December 9th.
