Mass sanctions for abuse of the National Emergency Call System 112
Over 200 citizens have been penalized with fines for submitting false signals and prank calls to the 112 phone number in the period October 2024 - April 2025. The sanctions were imposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to prevent the blocking of emergency lines and the waste of resources.
