Burgas regional court has kept Dimitar Gavazov, mayor of Sungurlare, and Radoslav Revanski, mayor of Belitsa, in custody.
The DPS party has come out against what it calls the "Radev-Koprinkov model" after a meeting today of its Central Operational Bureau, led by Delyan Peevski. MPs, mayors and party officials attended, the party press office said. It said those present agreed on one message against Radev.

On Wednesday, Peevski told reporters in parliament that Radev personally orders police raids, including the one in Sungurlare. He called Radev and Nikolay Koprinkov "the top of the oligarchy".
At the meeting, they discussed the work of party branches in the regions, the uncovering of corruption schemes, and how the parliamentary group will prepare for the state budget. The party's priorities are support for people and for the regions.
The state is on autopilot and the "Radev-Koprinkov model" is gorging on power, the DPS statement says. The party links the rise of this model to show-off police raids on mayors and opposition activists. It also says Radev and "his clique" have taken control of the repressive apparatus, the Supreme Judicial Council and the prosecution service.
"Bulgaria is not a barracks and Radev will not trample us with a dictator's boot," DPS said. The party said it will not bow to "an anti-democratic, bankrupt, power-hungry political accident" and will back anyone who is unfairly pursued, intimidated or pressured.
DPS says the model shames Bulgaria before its own citizens and Europe, and damages the country's European and Euro-Atlantic course. The party calls this course a choice of civilisation and says it will not allow any retreat from it.
DPS says its main concern is people who are getting poorer, and that "Radev does not care" about them.
