Road repair of 13 km of a third-class road Haskovo - Mineralni bani starts on June 6
On June 6, repair work will begin on 13 km of third-class road III-806, connecting Haskovo and Mineralni bani. Traffic will be carried out in one lane at a time, regulated by road signs and signalmen. The repair activities include replacement of the pavement, improvement of drainage, and installation of road infrastructure, and are expected to be completed by August 2027.
Bulgaria ready to adopt the euro from 2026, according to reports from the EC and ECB
The European Commission and the European Central Bank published convergence reports, in which they found that Bulgaria meets all the criteria for membership in the eurozone. The country is expected to introduce the single European currency from January 1, 2026, after approval by the key EU institutions.
A traffic police officer saves a woman and a child in an incident on the Trakiya highway.
On May 31, during repair work on the Trakia highway, a strong air flow ejected road markers towards Kristina Alexandrova's vehicle, puncturing a tire. French notification regarding defective pressure oil separator tanks
The State Agency for Metrological and Technical Supervision (DAMTN) received a notification from France regarding problematic pressure oil separators with the brand BWB-Behalter-WERK. It has been established that the welded seams of the products have defects, leading to a risk of cracks and injuries. However, the risk is assessed as low, as the products have a long lifespan and consumers can replace them free of charge until the end of 2032.
