Japanese Cinema: Aesthetics and Cultural Codes

On May 13, 2026, at 18:30, Dr. Lyudmila Kirilova will reveal to the audience why Japanese cinema is so unique. The lecture will explore the recognizable cinematic language that turns Japanese films into a global cultural phenomenon.

Tibet: History, Culture, and Traditions

On May 14, 2026, at 14:00, researcher Liang Jun-yen will transport us to the heart of Tibet. The lecture "Sketches from the History and Culture of Tibet" will trace the development of the region from the Tang Dynasty to the present day, focusing on language, religion, and art.
