Storks and pelicans are already in the south, while ducks, coots and cormorants, which stay here for the winter, gather on Vaya, Atanasovsko and Mandrensko lakes.
In rain and under low clouds, birds fly less and wait on the water, so large flocks over the city are unlikely today. Anyone who wants to watch them with binoculars will find drier weather tomorrow. Suitable places are the road along Vaya toward Dolno Ezerovo and the salt pans of Atanasovsko Lake.
Waterproof jacket and closed shoes for Tuesday
For work and school, take a waterproof jacket and closed shoes. Mesh sneakers will be soaked before you even reach the bus stop. Put spare socks in the children's backpacks.
The Sea Garden is wet and slippery today from fallen leaves, so choose a gym for running. If you want to go outside, it no longer rains after 8 p.m.
Drivers should use dipped headlights and keep a longer distance, because wet leaves and puddles lengthen braking distances. Slow down near bus stops so you do not splash the people waiting for the bus.
