Councils in Burgas region report a calm presidential vote and low turnout.
Karnobat has received no reports of violations and the voting machines are working normally, council secretary Kremena Subeva said.
In Pomorie, Toni Mitev described the situation as completely calm. Just over 10% of voters had cast ballots by 1pm.
Malko Tarnovo is quiet too. The machines are working without problems, and there are no complaints or reports. The same is true in Kameno.
In Ruen, election day began with a change of members on polling station commissions, council secretary Snezhana Panayotova said. There are no complaints or reports.
"Despite the changes, the commissions are at full strength and election day began normally," she told Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).
The only mobile polling station in the municipality opened a little later.
