A 49-year-old man from Stara Zagora was injured in a collision on the Trakia motorway that occurred at the 327+250 km mark yesterday around 5:00 PM. The man, who was driving a Citroën C5, sustained a fracture of his left shoulder joint. After being examined by medical teams at the scene, he declined to be admitted to a hospital for treatment.

The Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior informed the media that the accident was caused by the Citroën driver failing to maintain a safe distance. Upon impact, he struck a Škoda Superb in front of him, driven by a 46-year-old from Plovdiv. As a result of the collision, the Škoda was pushed forward and hit a Renault Kangoo driven by a 74-year-old from Burgas.

As part of the investigation into the incident, all three drivers were subjected to specialized alcohol and drug tests. The results of all samples were negative.
