Ukrainian drone operators from the Signum unit spotted and hit a Russian refuelling tanker marked with large letters reading "МОЛОКО" (milk), the unit said.
Signum is part of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade. It released video of the strike but did not say where on the front the tanker was or when it was hit.
"A label on a tanker does not change what is inside it, let alone what it is for," Signum said. The unit added that Russian supply lines remain among its operators' targets.
Russia has been waging a full-scale war on Ukraine since February 2022. Strikes on supplies for the Russian army are part of Ukraine's defence.
Russian tankers marked "ВОДА" (water) have appeared at the front before. Activists from the "Yellow Ribbon" resistance movement joked at the time that the next label might be "МОЛОКО".
