Temporary change in the operation of RIM-Burgas

Regional Historical Museum – Burgas informs its visitors about an upcoming interruption in the operation of two of its expositions.

In the period from 12:00 PM on May 22 (Friday) to May 25 (Monday) 2026, the Ethnographic Exposition and the Natural History Museum will not be accepting visitors.

Reasons for the closure

The temporary suspension of access is necessary due to the performance of planned disinfection and disinsection of the storage facilities and exhibition halls at the sites:

  • Ethnographic Exposition (69 Slavyanska St.)
  • Natural History Exposition (30 K. Fotinov St.)

Where can you go?

During the maintenance, lovers of history and culture can visit the other sites of RIM-Burgas, which will operate with normal opening hours:

  • Archaeological Exposition (21 Aleko Bogoridi Blvd.)
  • Historical Exposition (31 Lermontov St.)

Return to normal rhythm

The Ethnographic and Natural History Museums will reopen their doors on May 26 (Tuesday). Their standard working hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
