Missiles and drones over 12 regions
Russia used Iskander-M, S-400, Zircon and Onyx missiles and 210 Shahed attack drones, 110 of them jet-powered. There were hits in 32 places, and debris fell in 8 more.

By 9am, air defences had shot down or jammed 181 drones, 87 of them jet-powered. Another 10 were still in the air, and air defence crews were still working.
President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote that Russia fired 21 missiles at Kyiv in three waves and that 12 regions were hit. He said that at that point two people had been killed and 34 injured. The strike came after talks in Moscow, where White House envoy Steve Witkoff called Putin a "humanist". "Right after the latest talks, Russia carried out a demonstrative strike," Zelensky said. He said Moscow needs to face real pressure: stronger air defence, fast delivery of missiles, and sanctions for the war.
Russia has been fighting a full-scale war against Ukraine since February 2022.
