Russia's overnight attack on Kyiv on 22 October wounded 15 people, mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Two of the injured are children, both aged 15. Eight people are in hospital.

In the Pechersk district, a strike hit an ambulance station and damaged six ambulances. None of the medics was hurt. In the Darnytskyi district, a transport facility was hit. Emergency crews are on their way to the site.

The South Bridge was also damaged, as was part of the metro infrastructure. The Kyiv City State Administration says the green Syretsko-Pecherska metro line is running in two sections: Syrets to Vydubychi, and Osokorky to Chervony Khutir. Only trains that stayed in the tunnels overnight are running on it, and waits between trains may get longer.

Inspectors will check the South Bridge and the metro, and repairs will begin, once the air raid alert ends.
