The CITUB trade union confederation will present today its figures on third-quarter consumer prices and the living wage.
The KNSB trade union says a small basket of basic goods cost just over €62 in September. With A-95 petrol included, the items cost 8.6% more than a year earlier.
The union publishes its full price data for the third quarter today, including the cost of living for a family.
Three months ago, KNSB calculated that a family of three needed €1,491 to get by in the second quarter. The same data showed that nearly a third of family income goes on food.
Covers the economy, energy, agriculture, transport and statistics: the prices, decisions and data that reach people's wallets. The pieces are prepared with editorial technology and go through editorial review before publication.
