One person died and 11 were injured in 10 road crashes across Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, the interior ministry said.

So far this year, 418 people have died on the roads. That is 39 more than in the same period of 2025.

In Sofia, one serious crash and 16 minor ones were reported over the same period, and one person was injured.

Since the start of the month, the ministry has recorded 62 crashes, in which four people died and 78 were injured.

Since the start of the year, there have been 5,836 crashes and 7,228 people injured, according to data the ministry published on its website.
