The government has raised the cap on employer-paid vouchers from €102.26 to €200. Anything above €102.26 is subject to a final 7% tax.
Employers will be able to give each worker up to €200 a month in food vouchers, the government decided at its meeting today.
The limit until now was €102.26 (200 leva).
Ministers approved changes to the Corporate Income Tax Act. A final tax of 7% will apply to the part between €102.26 and €200.
