Police detained six people yesterday in three raids on suspected drug production and dealing in the Burgas area, the Burgas regional police directorate (ODMVR) said.
Details of the raids in Prosenik and Sredets emerged earlier today, when five people were in custody. The sixth was held after a third search, in Nessebar.

In the village of Prosenik, in Ruen municipality, officers entered the house of a 34-year-old man with a criminal record and prior convictions. They found a white crystalline substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, a gas cylinder with a burner, a bottle of acid, electronic scales, boxes of Coreselin and caustic soda. Police say the items and precursor chemicals are linked to drug production.
Three others were in the house with the man: men aged 36 and 45, from Prosenik and Burgas, and a 29-year-old woman from Kazanlak. All four were detained.
Officers from the Sredets district police department searched the home of a 40-year-old local man with a criminal record. They found methamphetamine, electric scales, a gas stove, an electric hob, a glass pipe for smoking and various chemicals and precursors. Police say these are used to make high-risk drugs. The man was detained.
In the Pyasatsite district of Nessebar, officers searched a home and found cannabis. The resident was also detained.
All six can be held in custody for up to 24 hours.
