A Russian drone hit a multi-storey apartment block in Kremenchuk, in the Poltava region, killing two people and injuring one, regional military administration head Vitaliy Dyakivnych said.

The injured person has trauma injuries. Cars parked next to the block caught fire after the strike, and emergency services are at the scene.

Dyakivnych did not say exactly when the strike happened. He said officials are still working out the full effects of the attack.

Russia has waged a full-scale war on Ukraine since February 2022.
