Weather Forecast: Sunny and Warm, Temperatures up to 32 Degrees

We expect almost summer-like weather today across the country, as the forecast predicts predominantly sunny and warm weather with a slight breeze. Meteorologists report that the day will be sunny, although broken high clouds are expected over the western and northern regions of the country, which will not, however, completely spoil the overall feeling of a warm and pleasant day.

In the lowlands, the wind will be light to moderate and will blow from the east. This will contribute to a feeling of coolness in the middle of the day. Maximum daily temperatures will reach a pleasant 27 to 32 degrees, which is typical for the season. In the capital, Sofia, thermometers will show around 28 degrees.

Weather in the mountains and on the Black Sea coast

It will also be sunny in the mountains, which promises ideal conditions for hiking and outdoor activities. The wind there will be light to moderate, and its direction will be from the north-northeast. In the highest parts of the mountains, however, it will change its direction to north-northwest, which is important for mountaineers to keep in mind. At an altitude of 1200 meters, the maximum temperature will be around 20 degrees, and at 2000 meters it will drop to 14 degrees, which requires appropriate equipment for the high peaks.

Our Black Sea coast will also enjoy sunny weather, which is great news for the thousands of vacationers enjoying the last warm days on the beach. The forecast predicts a more frequent moderate eastern wind, which will create light waves and bring freshness from the sea. Maximum temperatures along the coast will vary between 24 and 28 degrees. The temperature of the sea water will be very pleasant - between 24 and 25 degrees. The sea excitement will be weak to moderate, between 2 and 3 on the Beaufort scale, which makes conditions for swimming and water sports almost ideal.
