A man living in a private home on "Tamara" Street in the "Pobeda" district of Burgas found himself at the center of a police operation following the discovery of a significant quantity of narcotics. The case was confirmed to Burgas24.bg by the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, clarifying that the search was conducted yesterday at approximately 5:30 p.m. by officers from the Pobeda Police Precinct, part of the First District Police Department in Burgas.

During the operation, the following evidence of criminal activity was seized from the property:

  • A white crystalline substance (methamphetamine) weighing approximately 90 grams;
  • 69 small bags containing the same substance – methamphetamine – with a total weight of approximately 30 grams;
  • Numerous empty polyethylene bags and an electronic scale.

In connection with the drugs found, a 28-year-old Burgas resident and the 23-year-old woman with whom he cohabitates have been detained for a period of up to 24 hours. Officers from the First District Police Department in Burgas are currently continuing work to fully document the criminal activity of the two detainees.
