Police detained three men with criminal records in a special operation in Pomorie municipality. In a private house in Aheloy, officers found drugs and a large amount of material for dividing and storing them.
Officers searched the house, where a 24-year-old man from Burgas lives. They seized amphetamine (4 grams), methamphetamine (2 grams) and cannabis (3 grams in total), some of it in two hand-rolled cigarettes.
Officers also found 90 grams of a white crystal substance. An expert examination will show what it is.
They also took two electronic scales, 430 empty plastic bags, 57 clear plastic boxes and three boxes with traces of a similar crystal substance. Fast-track proceedings have been opened over the drugs.
Police focused on everyday crime, drug dealing and crimes against citizens' political rights.
The operation also solved two thefts in Pomorie on 20 October. A 24-year-old Pomorie man was detained on suspicion of taking the saddle from a 40-year-old woman's bicycle. Police also identified a 33-year-old man from the town who took a 52-year-old man's bicycle. The bike was found and seized.
Police have opened files on both thefts.
