The Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel and the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church blessed and supported the "Great Family March" organized by Orthodox organizations in Sofia. The event included a solemn water blessing and a march with thousands of participants, which upheld traditional values and the family.

On June 15, 2025, a solemn water blessing was held in front of the St. Alexander Nevsky Memorial Church, marking the start of the "Great Family Procession" organized by Orthodox organizations. The event was blessed by Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel and the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, with the clergy emphasizing the importance of family, faith, and spiritual resilience in modern society in their address to the believers.

After the water blessing, the procession passed through central Sofia streets with the participation of parents, youth, and clergy representatives. The event concluded with a brief spiritual program and the distribution of Orthodox literature. Among the messages of the event was the need to preserve traditional values and oppose moral relativism.
