Dangerous weather: Intense rainfall and hail
Today, almost the entire country is under the influence of first and second-degree weather warnings. Powerful thunderstorm activity and localized hail are expected, with rainfall amounts in the orange code regions potentially reaching up to 50 liters per square meter.
Temperatures today will be in the range between 20° and 25°, with around 20° expected in Sofia.

- In the mountains: Strong northwesterly wind, rain, and thunderstorms.
- Along the Black Sea coast: Rainfall in many places, accompanied by thunderstorms.
What to expect over the weekend?
Saturday and Sunday will remain cloudy and rainy. In many regions, rainfall will be significant, accompanied by strong winds and a risk of hail. The mercury in the thermometers will drop further, reaching maximum values between 19° and 24°.
The good news is that at the beginning of next week, the rainfall will decrease, and temperatures will rise significantly.
