An opera gala featuring Svetlina Stoyanova and Kiril Manolov, a jazz concert by Jivko Petrov, and a series of literary premieres are among the main highlights of today's program, September 5. The Apolonia Festival of Arts in Sozopol is reaching its penultimate day, presenting to the audience a portion of its rich selection, which includes over 70 events in the fields of music, theater, cinema, literature, and fine arts.

The Apolonia Festival has been held since 1984. It is organized by the Apolonia Foundation, established in 1991. Every year, this large-scale event turns Sozopol into a magnet for hundreds of artists and thousands of culture enthusiasts from both Bulgaria and abroad. The organizers' primary mission is to preserve artistic traditions and provide a platform for new talent to emerge. The media partner for this year's 42nd edition is the media.

  • 6:00 PM, Art Gallery – presentation of the book "Boris and His Sons" by Galina Zlatareva.
  • 6:30 PM, "Otets Paisiy" Community Center – the performance "The House of Our Dreams," prepared by "Quasar Studio."
  • One hour after the start of the first event at the gallery, the book "Wall" by Radoslav Bimbalov will also be presented there.
  • 7:00 PM, Archaeological Museum – recital by pianist Vesko Stambolov.
  • 8:30 PM, Open-Air Cinema – screening of the film "A Gram of Life."
  • 9:00 PM, Apolonia Amphitheatre – opera gala with Svetlina Stoyanova and Kiril Manolov.
  • 11:00 PM, Archaeological Museum – "56 Minutes of Jazz" concert by Jivko Petrov.
