Modernization of the urban environment in Burgas

Burgas Municipality is launching significant renovation works on two of the busiest underpasses in the city. The main goal of the project is to increase the safety of citizens and improve the aesthetic appearance of the facilities.

"Investments in infrastructure are a direct path to a higher quality of life and safety for all pedestrians," the municipality commented.

Renovation of the underpass on "Nikola Petkov" street

The first object of the reconstruction plan is the underpass on "Nikola Petkov" street. The project includes:

  • Installation of modern energy-efficient lighting;
  • Construction of a modern video surveillance system;
  • Restoration and renovation of the commercial kiosks in the facility.

Reconstruction at the "Lidl" store in the "Slaveykov" residential complex

The second underpass undergoing a large-scale transformation is located in the "Slaveykov" residential complex. There, the repair works include:

  • Complete replacement of the electrical installation and new wiring;
  • Installation of LED lighting for better visibility;
  • Repair of the walls and replacement of the stone cladding;
  • Laying of new flooring and installation of safety metal railings.

With the implementation of these projects, Burgas continues its consistent policy of modernizing public infrastructure, ensuring a comfortable and safe urban environment for the city's residents and visitors.
