A New Beginning for Education in Aheloy

On May 29, 2026, at 10:15 a.m., an official ceremony will be held in the courtyard of "Hristo Botev" Primary School, Aheloy, for the "Final Press Conference" and the grand opening of the completely renovated school facilities.

The project was implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, reaffirming the commitment to better educational infrastructure.

Event Program:

  • 10:15 a.m. – Official opening by the project manager, Mr. Georgi Petkov;
  • 10:20 a.m. – Introduction of official guests, including the Mayor of Pomorie Municipality, Mr. Ivan Alexiev;
  • 10:25 a.m. – Summary of the achieved goals and completed project activities;
  • 10:40 a.m. – Detailed report on the renovation and modernization work carried out at the school;
  • 10:55 a.m. – Discussion with attendees and closing of the event.

The event will be attended by the school principal, Ms. Yuliyana Atanasova, representatives of the contractor, the project management team, teachers, parents, and students.

The project is funded under procedure BG-RRP-1.007 "Modernization of Educational Infrastructure".
