Prosveta Publishing has launched TestUM, an intelligent test generator that allows teachers to create ready-to-use tests in just a few minutes. The tool has been available since September 16 and was developed to save teachers time during their daily preparation.

"TestUM is not just a test generator. It is a combination of the long-standing expertise of Prosveta's specialists and the capabilities of modern technology. This way, the teacher receives high-quality, verified content and a reliable tool that makes their daily work more efficient. TestUM does not replace the teacher; rather, it gives them back their most valuable resource – time," says Vladimir Krastev, Director of the Prosveta software team.

At the core of the platform lies a rich bank of verified questions covering all general education subjects from 2nd to 12th grade. Every individual question has been validated by experts, aligned with current curricula, and features a clearly defined difficulty level. Currently, users can utilize ready-made tests and templates for diagnostic assessments, with templates for formative and summative assessments, as well as those for national external assessments and state graduation exams, to be added soon.

The generator offers three main operating modes, providing flexibility to every teacher:

  • using a ready-made test from a library of pre-created and verified versions;
  • generating a test based on a ready-made template;
  • creating a custom test from scratch.
With just a few clicks, a teacher can create an entire test and generate multiple equivalent versions. Students can be tested both on paper and online – in the latter case, the system provides automatic grading and instant results.

The new solution eases the burden of daily tasks, where choosing topics, formulating questions, and creating different versions require significant attention, precision, and time. With TestUM, this labor-intensive process becomes much faster.

The new tool for teachers may facilitate test preparation and the educational process in schools across Burgas and the region.

All Bulgarian teachers will have access to the generator on the e-prosveta platform until October 30, 2026. According to the publisher, after this date, the tool will be available exclusively to those teachers who use Prosveta textbooks.
