Preparing for Eurovision: The New Organizing Committee
Deputy Prime Minister Ivo Hristov has been officially appointed as chairman of the interdepartmental organizing committee responsible for Bulgaria's preparations for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest.
"Ivo Hristov possesses extensive national and European experience, and understands culture and diplomacy, which is key to the success of such a large-scale project," commented President Iliana Iotova to journalists in Pazardzhik.
Will Bulgaria rise to the challenge?
The head of state rejected the skepticism of a portion of the public regarding the country's ability to organize an event of such rank. According to her, Bulgaria has repeatedly proven that it knows how to mobilize to the fullest extent in critical situations.
The President's expectations
- Continuing the success of Bulgarian performers.
- Hope for new musical talents of Dara's caliber.
- The invitation extended to Dara for the official reception at the presidency on the occasion of May 24th.
