Burgas poet Gergana Chanakova will present her second poetry collection, "While I Was Silent", on 4 November at 6.30pm in the Petya Dubarova hall of the Sea Casino Cultural Centre.

The book has 57 poems in several cycles. They deal with courage, love, relations between people and the search for meaning in life.

Teodora Ilieva, students from the Lyuben Groys Theatre College and young people from the creative writing club "Flying People" will take part.

Chanakova made her debut in 2023 with the collection "Ink Letters". She graduated in public relations and in administration and management in the public sector, and has worked in administration for more than 10 years.

Ina Ivanova and Diana Savateva read poems to a full hall at the Sea Casino in Burgas on 17 October, as we reported on 18 October. The evening was part of the 30th Autumn Literary Festival.

In 2025 she founded the reading club "Ligeria" in Burgas.
