A Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV driven by a woman crashed in Nessebar and came to rest on a fence around a private yard, a few metres from the front of a home. There is no confirmed information about any injuries.

Early reports say the driver is of Ukrainian origin. She failed to keep control of the car, which left the road and ran up to the fence of the property.

The grey SUV stayed on the concrete fence between the pavement and the yard. Its rear wheels were off the ground, its front end was in the bushes right in front of the house, and the driver's door was open.

The car stopped in front of the building. Had it gone differently, it could have hit the front of the house. There is no information on any damage to the property or the car.

A photo from the scene shows a police officer next to the SUV. Police have to establish how the woman lost control, how the car reached the fence, and whether the cause was a wrong move, mixed-up pedals or something else.
