On the occasion of the professional holiday of the employees of "Fire Safety and Civil Protection," which is celebrated on September 14, the Regional Department of Fire Safety and Civil Protection in Nessebar organized a special initiative. The date was officially designated as the holiday of firefighters by a decision of the Council of Ministers in 1995.

During Fire Safety Week, employees of the regional service delighted about 100 children from the Nessebar kindergartens "Yana Laskova" and "Kalina Malina." The children visited Zhulieta Shishmanova Square in the New Town, where they had the opportunity to take a close look at two fire trucks, along with other rescue vehicles and specialized equipment.

Under the expert guidance of the professionals, the little ones even stepped into the role of firefighters, trying out a fire hose and playing with a water jet. To conclude the meeting, the kindergarteners presented a greeting to the staff in the form of a thematic poem. Due to the high level of interest, the regional service plans to visit other educational institutions in the municipality in the coming days.
